Hi, I’m Adrienne!

I’m an actor and vocalist based in New York, NY. I am proudly from “The A” (Atlanta, GA) by way of a humble upbringing in Jonesboro, GA. I grew up singing in church and school choirs and even though I was a shy kid with head always in a book, I’ve always loved performing. I received my undergraduate degree in vocal performance at the historic Spelman College in Atlanta, GA and my masters of the same at The Chicago Conservatory of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. Upon completion of my master’s degree I leapt into the musical theatre field and took it by the horns!

My life changed when I relocated to New York from Chicago for my Broadway debut starring as Nala in Disney’s The Lion King. Since may debut I have had the opportunity to work in New York theatre and regionally in Roundabout Theatre’s Broadway revival of Kiss Me Kate, Kenny Leon’s reimagining of The Tap Dance Kid at New York City Encores! as well as with John Doyle at The Goodspeed in the gripping and heartbreaking new musical The 12.

During the course of my career, I have had the pleasure and opportunity to work with notable directors Robert Townsend, John Doyle, Kenny Leon, Anthony Hemingway, Gary Lennon, Charles Newell, John Stefaniuk, Scott Ellis & Casey Nicolaw.

For announcements of upcoming solo performances, concerts, new music and masterclasses follow me in News . For a closer look into who I am and what I’m passionate about, check out my blog and Youtube series , 32Bar Cut - a series dedicated to transparent advice and honest stories about my career in theatre so far.

You can watch me now on STARZ in the finale season of Power Book IV: Force as Shanti ‘Showstopper’ Page - a ruthless former boxer and master manipulator in the drug game. In my spare time I enjoying spending time with my husband & son and making handmade soap. For all booking inquiries, please contact Alice Stites (Brillstein Entertainment Partners).
